The Crocodile Park, Riverwalk Restaurant, Butterfly House, and Tribung K’Mindanawan proved to be good locations for the “Practical Photojournalism Workshop for Bloggers” with Ms. Jojie Alcantara.

The workshop was held last Saturday, November 18, 2009 with a group of 18 select members of the Davao traditional and new media. Avel and Orman Manansala of General Santos City also participated in the workshop.

Cignal Digital TV, a direct-to-home satellite pay television service, launched its High Definition (HD) and digital TV programming service in Davao City recently.
Featuring eight HD channels and twenty one DVD-quality digital channels, Cignal Digital TV is proving to be a good alternative to existing pay television services in the city specially for HDTV owners who have yet to maximize the potential of their home entertainment system.

It’s that time of the year again when endless eating, merry-making, and gift-giving is in season. And us, Davao bloggers, would like to celebrate the season with a party. All Davao bloggers – yes, that also means bloggers from the Davao provinces are welcome – are invited to join the Davao Bloggers’ Christmas Party. And you may bring a date or friend, too.
The party will be held on December 4, 2009 (that’s a Friday), 7 pm, at the Mam Bebs Bakery at the First Floor of the CVA Building, CM Recto Street, Davao City. We are requesting a fee of P200 to cover food, drinks, entertainment, and other logistics.
